Mercy Isle announces next single will be released

Mercy Isle's Indiegogo campaign has cracked $4,000, and to celebrate, the band has announced they will release a new single titled "Saying Goodbye."

Indiegogo is a crowdfunding tool designed in such a way that fans can pre-pay for band merchandise and products before they are released. Amongst the basic merch you would expect, they have included creative fun perks, from $1 for "FUBAR #Selfies," homemade chocolate cookies (made by Kassandra), puffy paint customized t-shirts, YouTube AMA videos, to signed birthday cards and more. Visit their campaign HERE to claim your perk package.

"Saying Goodbye" is due for release on June 10th. We're told it's a ballad about loss, specifically the death of loved ones. It was composed by Joop de Rooij and Kassandra Novell. Keyboards/piano were tracked by Joop in the Netherlands, vocals were recorded by Cory Scheider at Old Dark House Studio in Madison, WI, USA.

The band's debut EP is slotted for official release in October 2015. It will feature four songs:

  • I'm Gonna Make It (remix)
  • Storm
  • No One Will Save You
  • Uncaged

Mercy Isle explains that the three new songs will be a contrast to their initial release "I'm Gonna Make It," as they contain heavier riffs and are darker in sound.

Mercy Isle's first live performance is June 27 at the Second Annual Madtown Underground Throwdown in Madison, WI.
